1. Information We Collect

Oxytoshi collects the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Account information: Display name, optional profile photo, and bio you choose to share.
• Location data: Your approximate location is used to show you on the map to other users. Location is only collected while the app is actively open — never in the background.
• Tipping data: Records of tips sent and received (amounts, timestamps, and associated messages) to calculate your Aura, Halo, and OXY scores.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, store, or have access to your Bitcoin, private keys, or wallet credentials.
• We do not require KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.
• We do not track your location in the background.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Self-Custodial Wallet

Oxytoshi connects to your existing Lightning wallet via Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC). All payments flow directly between wallets. We never hold, move, or have access to your funds.

4. Location Data

Your location is shared with other Oxytoshi users based on your visibility settings:

• Public: Visible to all users on the map.
• Friends Only: Visible only to users you have added as favorites.
• Hidden: Not visible to anyone. You can still send tips.

Location data is only collected while the app is in the foreground. We do not track your location in the background.

5. Score Data

Your Aura, Halo, and OXY scores are calculated from your tipping activity and displayed on your profile. Scores are transparent and visible to other users. The scoring algorithms are mathematically fair and cannot be manipulated through spending alone.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure cloud infrastructure. Your account data is stored on Supabase with row-level security policies.

7. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. Account deletion is permanent and removes your profile, location data, payment history, scores, and all other personal information. You can also block and report other users at any time.
