1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Oxytoshi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Oxytoshi is a location-based Bitcoin tipping application that allows users to discover nearby Bitcoin users and send them tips via the Lightning Network. Oxytoshi also tracks reputation scores (Aura, Halo, and OXY) based on tipping activity.

3. Self-Custodial Nature

Oxytoshi is a non-custodial service. We do not hold, control, or have access to your Bitcoin or wallet credentials. All payments are processed directly between users' Lightning wallets via Nostr Wallet Connect. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and funds.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to manipulate or game the scoring system.
• Create fake or misleading profiles.
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the service.
• Interfere with the operation of the app or its infrastructure.

5. Reputation Scores

Aura, Halo, and OXY scores are calculated algorithmically based on tipping activity. Scores are provided as-is and may be adjusted as we improve our algorithms. Scores cannot be purchased, transferred, or guaranteed to remain at any specific level.

6. No Financial Advice

Oxytoshi does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Tips sent through the app are voluntary transfers between users. You are responsible for any tax obligations related to your use of the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Oxytoshi is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• Loss of funds due to wallet issues, network failures, or user error.
• Accuracy of location data or user profiles.
• Actions of other users on the platform.
• Interruptions or errors in the service.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to manipulate the scoring system.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
